The Vault line is Vans’ premium label, through which the California sneaker brand offers classic silhouettes reworked in luxurious materials, design collaborations and special make-ups. Inspired by modern street fashion, art, music and a 40-plus year heritage in skateboarding and surfing, the iconic line has finally come to dominate Manila’s street style scene. Sole Academy hosted an intimate gathering introducing the newest and sleekest member of the family at their multi-brand sportstyle and lifestyle store located in Katipunan. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres were served by Ninyo Fusion Cuisine while guests took in the pulsating vibes of DJ Scratchmark.

From Vans’ highly limited Vault collection comes this updated take of the classic Era skate shoe. This latest version features a novel three-colour combination of canvas and suede, showcasing classic lines, exquisite textures and quality finishing we would expect from Vault.

Premium suede and canvas uppers paired with classic waffle soles and edgy leather details harken back to the classic Era skate shoe. Limited in number, unlimited in awesome.

The Van Doren Collection OG Era LX (Palm Leaf) pays homage to the classic Era that stays true to the same foxing heights, branding, padding density, and fit of the original as designed by Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta.
