I’ve spent a lot of time in Hawai’i (my birthplace) where Hawaiian and Polynesian tattoos were adorned on almost every other local. Seeing inked black lines and geometric patterns were a familiar sight even from an early age. Recently they’ve truly become a part of my life, only having gotten my first tattoo maybe 5 or so years ago. Then further integrated into my lifestyle when I got recruited to work at P&P Tattoo, where I got inked. I could ramble on and on about tattooing but I’d rather you’d see little parts of that world than read a long and informal history on it by yours truly.
